We are walking to give back to the UHN as our thank you for giving us all and our loved ones a second chance at life!
We are a group of pre and post lung transplant patients along with our family, friends and people who are/have supported our journeys.
We understand financially it’s a difficult time for most, even the smallest of donations are helpful, it all adds up.
It takes a city to change the world. And it truly starts here – that’s why we’ve banded together to raise funds for University Health Network (UHN) through We Walk UHNITED.
Reimagining health care starts here, at Canada’s #1 hospital. But only with your support is it possible. We Walk UHNITED is a rallying call to help UHN do what’s never been done.
Proceeds from We Walk UHNITED will support the most urgent needs of UHN. Your support gives them the flexibility to respond to the increasing demands on our healthcare system, while helping Canada’s #1 hospital accelerate groundbreaking research. It helps UHN to recruit the best and brightest medical minds and equip them with the latest cutting-edge equipment and technology – so they can keep pushing the status quo of healthcare and do what’s never been done.
